	Lt. William J. White aka: JJ
		JJ is the oldest member of the Sheriff's Department.  He started working part time with Sheriff Jimmie Andrews in 1975 and has worked under the last 5 Sheriff's of Franklin County. Hugh Roach was a fellow deputy under Sheriff Andrews and is the person who gave him his nick name JJ.  Sheriff Steve Thomas promoted JJ Lieutenant in January 2005.  He is head of the Civil Division.  He alone serves over 1000 civil papers a year.  We all appreciate the diligent efforts of JJ in the service of these civil actions. Lt. White has twin sons and several grandchildren.  Ken is an Officer with the Georgia Department of Motor Vehicle Safety, and Keith works at Johnson and Johnson in Royston.
